Well Testing:
The drilled well and hand pump beside Muskoka Road 32 (Go Home Lake Road) is maintained by the Association as a service to members, the well however is located on crown land and is accessible to the general public. It is important to note the Association cannot accept any liability resulting from the taking of water from this source.
Bacteriological testing of the well water is conducted on an ad-hoc basis approximately every 4 weeks. These tests measure Total Coliforms (TC) and Escherichia coli (E. coli). Test results are posted on the notice board beside the well. E. coli has never been detected in the well water, however TC readings higher than recommended for human consumption have been detected occasionally.
