Membership:
All property owners on Go Home Lake are welcome to become members of the Go Home Lake Cottage Owners’ Association. Other interested parties can apply for associate membership. Current membership dues are $ 40.00 for regular members and $ 60.00 for “Gold members”. Gold members can appoint up to three “Family members” to receive copies of all newsletters. Some of the many activities supported by the membership contributions include:
- Navigational Lights and Markers
- Fire Pumps and Maintenance - with the Municipality
- Annual meeting in April and Regatta on the August long weekend
- Newsletters, webpage and emails.
- Swim lessons to Red Cross standards
- Liaison with municipal and provincial authorities
- Water quality testing
- Membership in the Federation of Ontario Cottagers Associations (FOCA)
GHLCOA Memberships can be purchased at the Annual General Meeting in April, at Regatta Beach on the Sunday of the Regatta weekend or GHLCOA Memberships can be purchased and paid for on-line. Log on to “http://www.foca.on.ca/muskoka”, click on the red “JOIN NOW!” link after the “GO HOME LAKE COTTAGE OWNERS’ ASSOCIATION” listing and pay for the season’s membership on-line. Don’t forget to enter your lot number.
